Consat is founded
Jan-Bertil Johansson establishes Consat. First projects with Volvo Buses and Forbo Forshaga.
1999
NetGroup and ISO
certification
NetGroup is formed and Consat achieves ISO 9001 certification – a quality-driven approach from the start.
2003
AI breakthrough
Consat pioneers AI-based vision technologies, taking a major leap in innovation.
2004
Volvo YCC concept car
Involved in the development of Volvo’s YCC concept car, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
2006
James Bond project
Consat develops telematics for the James Bond car featured in Casino Royale.
2007
Expanding to the US
Consat establishes its first international office in San Diego, California, marking the start of global expansion.
2009
New corporate structure
Consat restructures into a corporate group, forming new divisions such as Telematics and Sustainable Energy Systems.
2010
First electric car
Consat develops the Volvo C30 Electric, showcased at the Paris Motor Show – a project ahead of its time.
2013
Top employer
Consat is named Top Employer of the Year and launches MX4, a groundbreaking vehicle platform.
2017
New CEO
Martin Wahlgren takes over as CEO, guiding Consat into a new era of growth and innovation.
