On 15th June, Östgötatrafiken started running timetables under new traffic contracts, operated by fleets including 110 new biogas buses and 20 new electric articulated buses, all equipped with automatic passenger counting equipment from Consat Telematics.

 Consat also provided equipment for all 25 Norrkoping trams, providing Östgötatrafiken with the ability to use actual passenger volumes in schedule planning, analyse traffic growth and patterns, and provide incentivisation mechanisms for operator contracts.
